Legendary JRPG 'Legend of Mana' Gets Remastered For Console and PC
The Mana Series does not have as high a popularity as some of Square Enix’s mainstay JRPG franchises such as Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, but this series still presents some very iconic games of its time. One of these games is Legend of Mana, which in the PS1 era was included in the ranks of the most legendary JRPG games. Its popularity is even high among Indonesian gamers. To revive the memories of old fans while at the same time attracting the attention of newcomers, Square Enix has finally officially announced a re-release Legend of Mana in remastered version.
Announced via Nintendo Direct this morning, Legend of Mana Remaster brings a variety of significant new overhauls. Some of them start from the visual quality that is smoother and sharper, the soundtrack has been rearranged, to the addition of the exciting mini-game “Ring Ring Land” which was not previously available in the western version of the original game.
Set in a fantasy world called Fa’Diel, Legend of Mana will take players on an epic adventure to find the Mana Tree. With an empty world map, players will be tasked with finding special artifacts that are used to bring up cities and dungeons through the Land Creation system. The advantage of this game also lies in the interesting storyline with memorable characters, as well as the evocative real-time action gameplay.
When is the Game Released?
Fans fortunately don’t have to wait long, because Legend of Mana HD Remastered will be released on June 24th. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. You can already access pre-orders from now on on PS4 which offers a bonus of 10 avatar sets and a custom theme. Meanwhile, the PC version brings a bonus in the form of special wallpapers.
