Mobile Game NieR Reincarnation Announce Cool Collaboration with Drakengard 3
Thanks to the great success that NieR Reincarnation has achieved since its release last February, Square Enix is now getting serious about providing full support to the game through new content updates. Talking about the new update, coincidentally the developer has prepared the latest collaboration between NieR Reincarnation and Drakengard 3.
The collaboration event, which will start on May 8, will bring a new exclusive character, Zero, who may also be accompanied by other iconic characters from Drakengard 3. In addition to new characters, players can anticipate the presence of content in the form of special skins/costumes for each character. The new trailer video also shows gameplay footage of Zero, which relies on agile swordsmanship skills and has strong destructive power with fiery attacks.
This collaboration was announced through a special livestream session held some time ago. In addition to sharing the latest details about the NieR Reincarnation collaboration with Drakengard 3, they also announced that the latest game from Yoko Taro will again involve Keiichi Okabe as the composer. Details about the game are still very limited apart from the certainty that the format is smaller than Nier and will only be released digitally.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Drakengard 3, this game is an action RPG directed by Yoko Taro which was released exclusively on the PlayStation 3. Even though the reception received by critics for the game is quite low, Drakengard 3 is actually very liked by many fans, especially from the characters and the way. The story is considered solid and is indeed typical of Yoko Taro’s concoction. Seeing how Nier’s popularity has grown considerably, it would be very interesting if the Drakengard franchise would also receive the same treatment in the future.
