The Latest Assassin's Creed Game Rumors Back to the Era of the Third Crusade

If you’re talking about AAA games from Ubisoft, then the name Assassin’s Creed will definitely be the first to be mentioned. Maybe many did not think that the successor of Prince of Persia has developed far to become Ubisoft’s most successful franchise. With the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which received a positive response thanks to its better quality than the previous series, surely many fans can’t wait for the concept of the theme of the new game later.

This curiosity may have been answered first, because recently there was a leak/rumor that came from a French YouTuber named Jonathan. Through the latest video that he uploaded last month, Jonathan discussed the theme of the next Assassin’s Creed game which will again take place in the third crusade era (Third Crusade). For those of you who may not know, this era is a setting close to the events of the first Assassin’s Creed game, so there’s always the possibility that Altair will appear as a cameo.

Jonathan then provides additional details such as areas that can later be explored such as Acre, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Vienna, Cologne and Paris. He then mentions that the main character of the game is someone named “Edmund.” Not to forget there is also a binary code that gives a kind of hint that the Assassin’s Creed game is only ready to be released in 2022, so this year Ubisoft will be absent again.

Of course all of this is still just a rumor, because every year there are always various sources claiming different information. But especially for Jonathan, at least he is a fairly reliable source and has a good reputation in his community, so who knows this rumor is right on target. For the time being what is clear we can only wait for the official announcement from Ubisoft. And considering this is related to Assassin’s Creed, it certainly won’t take long until fans are presented with the new game.
