The Wait Is Over, NieR: Automata Steam Version Will Release Repair Patches Tomorrow!

Present as a sequel / successor to the original Nier series which was less popular in its time, who would have thought that NieR: Automata would end up as one of Square Enix’s most successful games in the last decade. It’s no secret that the game received a very positive reception from many critics and players, but not a few still have complaints about its poor optimization on the PC platform. Fortunately, fans’ wait for years has finally come to an end, because tomorrow Square Enix plans to release a fix for the NieR: Automata version. Steam.

Following its announcement in April, they’re back to sharing new details of what the makeovers and fixes have brought. First for the overhaul itself, this patch will bring several new graphic features such as Borderless Video options, Fidelity FX, HDR support, Anti-Aliasing, UI textures in 4K, Global Illumination, to Ambient Occlusion / Bloom. Not to mention the pre-rendered cutscene footage that is always locked at 30fps can later run at 60fps.

HDR detection
Bit rate improvements
UI texture upgrade
Frame rate adjustments
Other minor fixes

Meanwhile, for bug fixes, there is an option that allows players to change the screen mode with shortcut keys, removing the mouse cursor when using the gamepad, a more stable fps at 60fps, and other implementations that are guaranteed to make the game run smoother. With the presence of this patch, it is certain that players will be presented with a much more optimal playing experience and can even be aligned with the next-gen console version.
