Huge Success, Atelier Ryza Series Reaches 1 Million Coffee Sales Worldwide!

Since its debut, which has been strong for more than two decades, Atelier, which is the flagship franchise of developer Gust, has only recently achieved bombastic popularity through the release of Atelier Ryza. This Atelier game wrapped in charming graphics with a THICC super heroine figure is indeed difficult to ignore, even for gamers who are not familiar with the JRPG genre. Following the release of its sequel late last year, now the Atelier Ryza series has successfully broken a record high sales.

Through official announcement From Koei Tecmo and Gust yesterday, it is known that the sales of the two Atelier Ryza series: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy have exceeded one million copies worldwide. This number does sound quite low when compared to many AAA games, but please note that Atelier Ryza is still a JRPG genre game that is indeed quite segmented, so this result can be said to be very good.

As a form of celebration, Koei Tecmo plans to release digital content in the form of new costumes for both games, including the re-release of the “Summer Adventure” and “Divertimento Embrace” costume sets which are available until March 31 tomorrow.

Seeing the great success that this latest series has received, there is a possibility that Gust will later develop a third sequel. Incidentally, the discussion about the continuation of the sequel was also mentioned by Producer – Junzo Hosoi, who was very interested and didn’t mind developing the third game as long as he received full support from fans.

For those of you who haven’t had time to try the game, Atelier Ryza is now available in two game series that you can currently play on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Both games focus on the story of Ryza and his friends who are trying to find a new destiny in a fantasy world full of mystery and adventure.
