March Release, Dynasty Warriors Mobile Opens Pre-Register For Android and iOS!

Although the franchise is in a rather worrying position after the release of Dynasty Warriors 9 which is considered a failed experiment, Koei Tecmo and the developer Omega Force are in fact still determined to restore the reputation of Dynasty Warriors. For this they have prepared several new game projects, including Dynasty Warriors which is devoted to the mobile platform.

This musou game for the mobile platform carries many similarities from the Dynasty Warriors 9 series. This is because the game was developed directly by the Omega Force internal team. From the massive roster of 94 characters, to the cool hack-and-slash action gameplay on offer, everything looks promising so far. What’s more, this game can later be played with a standing screen or landscape viewing angle.

Through the latest announcement, Koei Tecmo has finally officially opened the pre-registration stage for the game for the Japanese region. They even provide certainty of a new release schedule, namely in March 2021. Of course there will be a variety of attractive rewards that players can get after registering in pre-registration.

Details regarding the game so far are still minimal, but you can check out a myriad of gameplay videos taken from the Closed Beta version on YouTube. Hopefully we can also see more new improvements in the final version later. Including the certainty of whether this game will also get a global version release. However, given the huge popularity of the franchise in the western market, this possibility will always exist.
