Monster Hunter Stories 2 Showcases Iconic Monsters Coming to the Game

Ahead of its release which is only a month away from now, Capcom has finally shared new details of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. The new details this time include highlights of the franchise’s iconic monsters that will be presented in the game. Some of these monsters include Glavenus, Gammoth, Bazelgeuse, Tobi-Kadachi and many more which players can get some companions as well.

The following are brief details of each monster:

Glavenus

This monster was a ferocious Wyvern with a long tail resembling a large sword that it wielded as a lethal weapon. The more heat it stores, the more Glavenus’ attack pattern will change before finally launching a very dangerous final attack with its burning sharp tail.

Gammoth

Having a shape like a prehistoric elephant, Gammoth is a giant monster that relies on a strong attack from its body weight and tusks. This monster has strong defense and attack which can be minimized by destroying some of its exterior, as this is indeed the most effective way to weaken most other monsters as well.

Bazelgeuse

The main strength of Bazelgeuse comes from its scales that can be flown throughout the battle area like air bombs, which is the hallmark of this monster which is often called a bomber plane. In addition to relying on its scales, this Wyvern can also issue embers and physical attacks that are aggressive enough to anticipate. Destroying his body parts before entering the Rage position is a top priority, because at that stage Bazelgeuse will be resistant to the effects of items such as Flash Bombs.

Tobi-Kadachi

Relying on his agility and skillful maneuvering as a flying Wyvern, Tobi-Kadachi was a monster that could be troublesome to fight.
