Moonton Announces MDL ID Season 4
MDL ID Season 4 is confirmed to be rolling again although there are not many further details regarding the event. This certainty was confirmed by Moonton through an upload on the official MDL Indonesia Instagram account on Thursday (8/7/2021).
The Mobile Legends Development League (MDL ID) is intended as a competitive arena for those who want to pursue a professional career in the MLBB scene. Its level is indeed below MPL ID as the main competition, so if it is likened to a football league, MDL is arguably the Championship league which is below the Premier League.
Since it was first held, MDL ID has been underestimated. However, the prestige and competition during the competition round continues to increase from season to season. Moonton’s strategy has proven successful in building a healthy ecosystem for nurseries, both for organizations that have a flag in the MPL event, as well as new teams that want to compete in the MLBB scene.

Moonton has just announced the MDL ID Season 4 teaser, and has not revealed the schedule for the implementation date, participating teams, and the selection process that will apply.
Interesting news, in the MDL season there will be a qualifying round held for new teams to be able to compete. Some of the teams that will take part in the MDL ID Season 4 qualifying round are Opi Gaming and Saints Spartan, as quoted from Esports.id.
Moonton then announced the Play In schedule which will start on July 17, 2021. Play In is a qualifying round for teams who want to participate in MDL Indonesia, there will be several teams that will try to participate in Play In. But only the two best teams are entitled to a slot to the Regular Seasons MDL ID Season 4!
While the MPL team is preparing the main roster, the news of the certainty of the MDL rolling may affect the player transfer market and promotions within the team. As we know, a number of MPL teams also reap the benefits of MDL. Call it the two names Alberttt (RRQ Hoshi) and Ferciix (EVOS Legends), each of which is on the road in MDL. In addition, there are also Sanz and Renbo (former Victim Esports), Kiboy, Variety, to Matt and Maxxx who all come from the MDL team and become mainstays in their respective teams.
