Not Today, The King of Fighters XV Announcement Has To Be Postponed
After giving a teaser for the announcement of the latest fighting game The King of Fighters XV, SNK has succeeded in attracting the attention of fans who can’t wait for the continuation of the series. Unfortunately, the announcement, which was planned to fall on January 6 today, had to be postponed for no apparent reason. This information was shared by SNK Global through their latest post on their official Twitter account.
Because it seemed so sudden, many fans suddenly felt disappointed and asked for further clarification. Not a few of them assume that the chaos that occurred in the United States was the cause. But considering that this announcement came a few hours before the riot broke, it seems like SNK had other internal reasons that they couldn’t publish.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the announcements. We will inform our fans as soon as the new date and time has been confirmed, and appreciate your kind understanding. #SNK

In addition to The King of Fighters XV, the cancellation of this announcement also includes Season Pass 3 content for Samurai Shodown. Although it could not provide further clarity, SNK promised to share new information as soon as possible after they determined the exact schedule. If you missed the game announcement last December, below you can see the teaser trailer and some character illustrations.
So like the information above, the announcement of The King of Fighters XV which was planned for today had to be postponed. For the time being without a definite schedule specified. SNK itself has apologized and promised to share more information as soon as possible.
