Raze Nerf, Guardian Buff, Map Rotation
The latest Valorant Patch update brings exciting surprises for Raze and Guardian weapons.
In the previous update, two Valorant agents, Killjoy and Raze, were nerfed. In this latest Valorant update, Riot Games decided to nerf agent Raze, especially for the damage from his Blast Pack ability when detonated in midair. Now, Blast packs have 0.5 seconds of arming time after landing, to get full damage 50.
So, if you throw and detonate it before it’s arm, the Blast pack will only deal 15 damage. In addition, Blast Pack Raze can no longer do damage to your team members.

Riot also gives buff on Guardian weapons. The price of this semi-automatic rifle is reduced to 2400 credits and the fire rate is accelerated to 5.25 rps. While certainly not comparable to Vandals or Phantoms, Riot hopes Guardian can be used more often in the competitive meta with these changes.
In addition to agent and weapon changes, this latest Valorant update brings changes more advanced matchmaking system. Previously, players were placed in the map automatically random so often get the same map in a row.
Now, the new system will use a “pseudo-random” pattern, meaning that players will get the same map much less frequently over and over again.

Well, those are the three biggest changes in the latest Valorant update this time. As usual, there were some minor fixes implemented as well, such as Quality of Life (improved minimap performance, fullscreen blinds, etc.) and bugs. For more details, you can check here.
