The Immortals Team Takes Over The Professional Dota 2 Team From South Korea, Team Phoenix
The Immortals team, which is well-known as the Counter Strike: Global Offensive team, will now participate in the Dota 2 event by taking over Team Phoenix from South Korea to play in the North America region.
Noah Winston as CEO of the Immortals team stated that they were interested in taking part in the professional Dota 2 event because they saw how Valve was so concerned about tournaments in the Dota 2 game such as The International event which is the biggest E-Sports event today. .
To fulfill their wish, Team Immortals decided to take over Team Phoenix which consisted of 5 former MVP Phoenix players. They had disbanded first in 2016 after The International 6. Now they decided to rejoin and accept an offer from the Immortals team to play on their behalf.
That way the Immortals team means that they have added more to their E-Sports line because they actually already have teams for the League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Overwatch games. With a team in Dota 2 with experienced players like MVP Phoenix, it seems they can achieve success in this MOBA game from Valve.
The following is the roster of the Immortals team:
– Kim ‘QO’ Seon-Yeob
– Pyo ‘MP’ Noa
– Sang-Don ‘FoREv’ Lee
– Kim ‘Febby’ Yong-min
– Kim ‘DuBu’ Duyoung
