The Walking Dead: Survivors Confirmed to Release Next Week for Android and iOS!

Besides being widely known from the popular TV series that has run for up to 11 seasons, The Walking Dead has also successfully gained popularity from the realm of the gaming industry. From Telltale’s story-focused games that ended in great success, to Overkill’s The Walking Dead which unfortunately had to be canceled, it seems that bringing this franchise into the form of a video game is not an easy challenge. This is not an obstacle for publisher Elex who is currently developing a game adaptation of The Walking Dead: Survivors which is specifically for the mobile platform.

Following its official announcement last month, the game has now entered the pre-registration stage with a release schedule set for April 12 next week. Since pre-registration opened, this game has managed to attract the attention of more than 1.5 million players who can’t wait to start a new adventure as a true survivor.

Regarding the concept of the game itself, The Walking Dead: Survivors is a PvP strategy game that requires players to build their own cities, form troops, prepare battle strategies, and expand their base by exploring new areas. This latest game project also has direct support from Skybound which is the official company of Robert Kikman who is the creator of the series. So the matter of quality adjustment seems nothing to worry about.

Due to adapting from The Walking Dead series, players will of course be accompanied by several iconic characters such as Rick Grimes, Maya, Vayne, Glenn, Michonne, and Dwight. Each survivor has different characteristics and abilities in their contribution to building your city, so players must continue to strengthen each existing character and provide the most suitable job for each of them.

When is the Game Released?

So like the information above, The Walking Dead: Survivors is scheduled to be released on April 12 for Android and iOS. The game has now officially opened the pre-registration stage as well Google Play Store and App Store.
