WG.Unity Dota 2 Team from Malaysia Successfully Advances to LAN Zotac Cup Final
The WG.Unity team from Malaysia, managed to beat the Mineski team from the Philippines, and has the right to advance to the LAN Final Zotac Cup which will be held in Taipei, at the end of May. This victory was achieved when they competed this morning in the Southeast Asia Qualifiers of the Zotac Cup.
After losing some of its players earlier this month, WG.Unity used 2 players from WG.Youth , to compete in the MDL and Zotac Cup. Although not faring well in MDL or Mars Dota 2 League, WG.Unity managed to score a pretty good achievement in the Zotac Cup, the Southeast Asia qualifier.
Several other teams that also made it to the LAN Final Zotac Cup were Fnatic, Cloud 9, Team Singularity, Invictus Gaming and isGG. There will be 2 more teams invited directly to the Zotac Cup LAN Final, but until now it has not been announced who the teams will be.
The first Zotac Cup Tournament, will compete for a prize of 100,000 USD or around 1.33 billion, and will be held at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei city, Taiwan.
