Cyberpunk 2077 Player Count on Steam Now Less Than 10K Left

After a long release, Cyberpunk 2077 began to experience a difficult situation after the number of players from the game on Steam decreased and now there are only less than 10 thousand players left. This figure indicates that CD Projekt Red is in trouble.

Furthermore, there are several reasons why Cyberpunk 2077 was short on players to date.

The decline in the number of Cyberpunk 2077 players on Gaben’s platform is actually not without reason. The reason is, many players have finished the game and they have nothing else to do. This is because CD Projekt Red has not released the DLC as they promised before.

For now, the developer has not been able to release the DLC they promised and will only focus on fixing some bugs. For your information, Cyberpunk 2077 was released last November 2020 and got hype which is so big. Dear, hype it ends in disappointment after so many bugs that the player gets.

Of course, this is a very unexpected thing for CD Projekt Red considering that previously they managed to successfully release The Witcher which is considered as one of the best RPG games. Even so, the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 can be said to be very good compared to the console. For this reason, the developer promises to provide improvements for Cyberpunk 2077 which will be released on Xbox Series X and PS5 later.

CDPR Delays Release of Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077

Through its Twitter account, CDPR said that this latest patch had to be postponed.

Although we really wanted to release patch 1.2 according to the existing schedule, a cyber attack that we got recently forced us to delay its release. We need a little more time and hope to release it soon.

Our goal in patch 1.2 is to update a lot of content. We’ve worked on some upgrades and overall quality improvements and we still have some work left.

Referring to existing information, they will release patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 in March 2021. This decision was taken by CDPR considering that they need a little more time to perfect the upcoming update.

Moreover, the cyber attacks they received recently made the internal CDPR system difficult.
