Kanna, Sorla Khan, Anessix, who are the new heroes in New Patch 7.28?

Not long ago, Valve posted a status update about the latest patch 7.28 which will be available a few weeks before the end of 2020. In addition to information about the new season of DPC and Dota Plus, there is also a piece of information about the latest heroes in January 2021.

There is only one clue left: the newest hero will be a “she”, which literally obviously the next new hero is a woman. Even though we already know the new hero will be a woman, this still makes us overanalyzing with other possibilities. She would be a woman, but was she a human, a demon or even a god?

Kanna

Known as Priesters of the Dire, her figure is also equipped with a very capable skill set in “Artifact”, a Dota-themed card game. Kanna is one of the most unique and favorite heroes in the game. Not surprisingly, quite a lot of fans want Kanna to be adapted to Dota 2. Moreover, Kanna also has an in-game reference through the Juggernaut Voice Pack Arcana, in a question to Phantom Lancer about the rumors of “Kanna’s return” in a line of Voice Lines: “Azwraith, you haven’t heard any rumors of Kanna’s return, have you ?”

Sorla Khan

A warrior with the highest pedigree and leader of the fearsome and bloodthirsty Red Mist army, he follows in the footsteps of his chief predecessor, Mogul Khan the Axe. Sorla understood that structure was the true source of life on the battlefield. That’s why he has the Warmonger skill that allows him to individually deal more damage to the tower. However, there is a possibility that Sorla and Ax’s resemblance will encourage Dota 2 Developers to turn it into a Persona, and not become a new Hero like Anti-Mage.

Anessix

The Mistress of Secrets is one of four Underlords currently released for auto-battlers and the only female. He leads many heroes on the battlefield but has his own powerful abilities. Anessix always had a companion by her side, be it a Demon Archer or a much bigger and terrifying Demonic Golem. Anessix is also related to the Court of Ristul and knows the Queen of Pain.
