Last Update ‘Friday the 13th’ Before Server Closes – Why? Friday the 13th dedicate the last update of the game before closing the server.

As for social media there will still be, but only to post necessary announcements and updates. The Friday the 13th game will also remain on sale and players will certainly be able to continue accessing the JasonKillsBug.com page. For XP, CP and Tape Drop will continue ‘indefinitely’ so players can still benefit.

Overall it seems Illfonic is looking for the best way out of the unfortunate legal issues for their game. For those of you who didn’t follow last year’s story, the studio is prohibited from adding additional content. Previously, the developer initially wanted to add Uber Jason and a new map along with several other camp counselors.

Unfortunately when asked if developers could include original content that wasn’t from the franchise it was revealed that Illfonic was not allowed to add new content to Friday the 13th.
