Nick Fry, Former CEO of F1 Mercedes AMG Appointed Head of Commercial Strategy for Fnatic
One of Europe’s largest esports organizations, Fnatic, recently announced that it has appointed Nick Fry, the former CEO of the Mercedes AMG Formula One Team, as their head of commercial strategy. Nick Fry was appointed because he has a lot of experience in terms of management and Media Right.
As we all know, over the past year, Fnatic has managed to expand its brand to several non-gaming sponsors, such as streaming service Music Deezer, and smartphone manufacturer OnePlus.
With the joining of Nick Fry who is also the founder of the firm Stonehaven Partners, it is hoped that the Fnatic brand will be extended to other non-gaming sponsors.
The former CEO of Mercedes Formula One, said that he was very interested in working in the esports industry, let alone joining a forward-thinking company like Fnatic. Nick Fry also said that Fnatic is well known among their big holders in the worlds of sports, music and entertainment.
