Nintendo Admits Switch Is In The Middle Of Its Life

Entering the era of the next console that has begun today, gamers are quite questioning how Nintendo can compete with its two competitors. For those of you who are also curious, Nintendo is arguably still relying on the Switch for the next few years. At least this was mentioned by the president of Nintendo America, Doug Bowser, in an interview with Polygon.

In the interview, Doug Bowser agreed that the Switch is currently in the middle of his life. Even so, Doug Bowser said that Nintendo is not yet interested in making a more powerful version of the Switch. The more powerful version here is the Switch Pro, which has been widely heard for at least the past year.

The Switch Lite will still be the latest Nintendo Switch model for now.

Doug Bowser also said that Nintendo would still rely on the Switch and Switch Lite for some time to come. Both of them still have a big impact, especially in 2021, even though the Switch itself is already in its fourth year.

In this way, Nintendo is still not interested in concocting the Switch Pro at least in the near future. It’s interesting to look forward to Nintendo’s next move to compete with next-gen consoles from its two main competitors.
