The large amount of revenue is the result of accumulation from the first time the PUBG Mobile game was released on February 9, 2021. Compared to other battle royale games like Free Fire, Call of Duty Mobile and Knive Out. Those games have much lower earnings. Throughout 2021 alone, these games managed to generate the following profits:

  • Knive Out: 260 million USD or equivalent to IDR 3,789,617,000
  • Call of Duty Mobile: 220 million USD or equivalent to IDR 3,206,599,000

From the accumulated profits obtained by PUBG Mobile, the biggest profit contributor came from China. China managed to contribute about 1.6 billion USD or around Rp. 23,323,280,000 or about half of global revenue.

The profits obtained by PUBG Mobile come from their micro transactions such as selling items in the form of skins, battle passes and others. Imagine how many youtubers are in burning UC? It is indeed an interesting content to watch, but UC fires are among the biggest contributors to PUBG Mobile’s revenue generation.
