Resident Evil Gets New CGI Movie Titled Infinite Darkness
Besides being popular as a video game, the name Resident Evil indeed widely known by film fans. Capcom’s popular horror game franchise often gets Hollywood film adaptations. The good news, now the “collection” of films Resident Evil will increase soon. In addition to preparing a live-action series project, Capcom and Netflix also have their first CGI-based film project for franchise this horror.
Had leaked before the official announcement, Capcom immediately confirmed that they were indeed working on a CGI film titled Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. Stories raised for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is the story of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. In this film, Capcom also wants to add suspense to the dynamic action scenes to show the world Resident Evil never seen before.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will be produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Capcom) and TMS Entertainment. For the animation, 3D animation studio Quebico will work on it Resident Evil: Vendetta which was released in 2021.
