Rumor: Apex Legends Will Release Physical Edition?
From the “Ping System” and “Respawn Teammate” features Apex Legends imitated Fortnite decisively, the “Season/Battle Pass” feature which was first introduced by Fortnite also followed by Apex Legends, it seems that the competition between the two genre games Battle Royale this is endless.
End of 2021 Fortnite issued a physical (and digital as well as an option) edition called Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle, contains exclusive items that cannot be obtained from playing the game or buying individually at the in-game store.
Seeing this success, Apex Legends seems to want to follow the trend by wanting to release a physical edition of their Free-to-Play game. This info leaked from a Reddit user in late August, from a photo during an internal conference GameStop, the leading video game store in the United States.
In the photo above, you can see 2 types of box art based on the 2 most popular legends Apex Legends, Bloodhound (left) and Lifeline (right). This relates to an image of the legendary skin of the two legends that leaked on the internet a few days earlier from another Reddit user.
At first glance, the design of the two skins above is closely related to the leaked info on the box art of the two legends. If it turns out to be true, it’s most likely the contents of the physical edition Apex Legends not much different from Fortnite previously, namely skins and exclusive items + ingame coins with selling prices that are not much different (Fortnite: Deep Freeze Bundle sold for $30 at release). And the estimated release date of this physical edition at the moment Apex Legends enter season 3 in early October 2021, or when Apex Legends want to do an event in season 3 or in the future.
