Square Enix Starts Work on New Action Game for Next Gen Console
Entering the next gen console era which is expected to start in 2021, world game developers are starting to prepare themselves. One of them is Square Enix. The developer who is famous for the Final Fantasy franchise has just updated the recruitment page on their website. What’s interesting is that this recruitment is for the First Development Division led by Yoshinori Kitase.
In an update to the recruitment page, it is stated that Square Enix’s first division is recruiting new developers to work on a new IP action game project. It also mentions that this new IP project will be done by an international team and the target market is next-generation consoles.
For information, Yoshinori Kitase’s First Development Division is Square Enix’s division that works on AAA games such as Final Fantasy Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3. It will be interesting if Square Enix will prepare a new IP action game and not an action RPG game. Let’s wait with Square Enix news regarding this one project.
