Unexpectedly, it has been 25 years since Playstation was founded and every year they never miss holding awards for games that have achieved achievements both in terms of innovation and sales.
This year there are 6 categories that will be contested, including:
- Platinum Prizes: For games that managed to reach sales of 1 million copies. (Including downloads)
- Gold Prizes: For games that managed to reach sales of 500 thousand copies. (Including downloads)
- Playstation Network Awards: for 3 games with the best network sales. (Period 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2021)
- PlayStation 25th Anniversary Users’ Choice Award : For the 5 best games selected by players who have won the previous Playstation Award. (Period 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2021)
- Playstation VR award : For 3 games that contributed greatly to PSVR sales. (Period 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2021)
- Indie and Developer Award : For 3 indie games (Period 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2021)
