The Dota 2 Clutch Gamers Team Makes Roster Changes After Their 2 Players Are Taken by Another Team

After 2 players decided to move, the Filipino team, Clutch Gamers, decided to overhaul their team by only retaining 2 players. Who is that player?

First of all, Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte moved to their rival team namely Execration which is also a team from the Philippines to replace Fernando “Nando” Mendoza. Not long after, the Malaysian team Warriors Gaming Unity took Kenneth “Flysolo” Coloma to form a new roster.

So there are only 3 players left in the current Clutch Gamers team, namely Rafael “Rapy” Sicat Palo, Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios, and Marvin ‘Boombacs’ Rushton. It turned out that the management decided to release Rafael “Rapy” Sicat Palo and leave 2 players in the team that was just formed in December 2016.

Actually, the Clutch Gamers team is able to become a team that is quite calculated considering they are still short in age. They managed to enter 4 major events, namely Dota 2 Summit 7, Manila Masters, EPICENTER Moscow, and Mars Dota 2 League. But unfortunately they failed to penetrate The International 7 event and gave up 2 tickets to their competitor team, TnC Pro Team and Execration.

Now they will bring Jio ‘Jeyo’ Madayag who is a veteran player who has played in the North America and SEA regions. Then there is Marvin ‘Boombacs’ Rushton who is also a veteran player in the Philippines and has been a pro player since 2013 and there is 1 new player brought by the Clutch Gamers team, namely Mac ‘MAC’ Tan. It’s not yet known what MAC’s game will be like but seeing a pro team interested in using his services means that this player certainly has the ability to compete at a professional level

The following is the roster of the Clutch Gamers team:

– Mac ‘MAC’ Tan
– Armel Paul ‘Armel’ Tabios
– Jun ‘Bok’ Kanehara
– Marvin ‘Boombacs’ Rushton
– Jio ‘Jeyo’ Madayag
