University Esports League in Indonesia (IEL) Will Officially Start in 2019 And Supported by IESPA

If so far, we have seen and heard many tournaments or esports leagues involving students from universities, then in 2019, for the first time an official University League supported nationally and internationally will be held in Indonesia.

This event is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Indonesian Olympic Committee or KOI, the Indonesian Community Sports Federation or FORMI, the Asian Esports Federation or AeSF, and of course the Indonesian Esports Association, or IESPA. This event, which is supported both nationally and internationally, is also officially supported by the respective universities.

According to information obtained by the Ligagame editorial team, the winner of the Universitas Indonesia League will have the right to advance again at the Southeast Asian and Asian levels, which will be organized by the Asian Esports Federation (AeSF) based in Hong Kong. This international level university championship, according to the information we have, will be held in 2019.

For (IEL – University series) – the first official University League in Indonesia, will involve 12 top universities, both public and private universities. And the selection of these twelve universities has gone through an official process to the rector of the university concerned. So that the participants are the official participants sent by the university concerned.
