After Retiring, PPD Apparently Returns to Competitive Dota 2. One of the Dota 2 veterans, namely Peter ” PPD “Dager had previously decided to retire from the competitive realm of Dota 2 in April 2020 yesterday.

The former captain of Evil Geniuses and the brains behind Evil Geniuses who won The International 2015 is one of the best Dota 2 captains ever because of his unique draft.

But due to lack of motivation to compete, PPD finally decided to retire from the competitive realm of Dota 2, whose last team was Ninjas in Pajamas.

After a long period of no news about PPD and Dota, this time surprising news came from PPD, where he decided to return from retirement and return to competition by participating in the qualifying rounds of Dota Summit 13: NA.

PPD will play with a team called Throne and here is the roster:

  • Carry: David “DNM” Cossio
  • Mid: Jose “esk” Coronel
  • Offlaner: Daniel “dyun” Yun
  • Support 4: Noah “Boris” Minhas
  • Hard Support: Peter “PPD” Dager

In the streaming, PPD also revealed that NA carry Mason “mason” Venne was invited by PPD to join the Throne, but Mason had refused.

It will definitely be interesting to hear how the player communicates with his team given the fact that he is one of the most accomplished captains in the professional world of Dota 2.
