3 CS:GO Players Get VAC Banned In ELEAGUE Boston Major 2018 Qualifiers

csgo VAC Banned

3 CS:GO players were VAC banned while qualifying for the 2018 ELEAGUE Boston Major. They seem to be using an illegal program to win the match.

The 3 players that were VAC banned were KerZe from Team Optimistic, Ciocardau from Invictus Aquilas, and SodaH from PlanetenOG. They suddenly disappeared in the middle of the match because they were banned from the CS:GO server. Of course their team is automatically disqualified for using an illegal program.

This qualification is done online so it is possible for players to use the illegal program. Fortunately, the tournament organizer, CEVO, also checked suspicious players such as KerZe from Team Optimistic, who got banned manually after his account was reviewed by CEVO.

It is still unknown what sanctions will be given for this cheat incident, but the successful capture of cheat users in the 2018 ELEAGUE Boston Major qualification shows the seriousness of the organizers to make E-Sports fair and not give room for cheaters.

In your opinion, what punishment should be given to cheaters in E-Sports?
