5 Players Team Phoenix MVP Will Reunite

After almost 1 year of separation, now 5 players from the former Phoenix MVP team will reunite in the same 1 team. However, it is still unknown whether they will return to play with the MVP banner or create a new team.

This news came from Kim ‘QO’ Seon-Yeob who made a Tweet saying that these 5 South Korean players are Kim ‘QO’ Seon-Yeob, Lee ‘Forev’ Sang-don, Pyo ‘MP’ No-a, Kim ‘ Febby’ Yong-min, and Kim ‘DuBu’ Duyoung will re-join a team.

From 2014 to 2016, the MVP Phoenix and MVP Hot6ix teams were the only teams from South Korea that were able to enter the international Dota 2 arena. Even though the Hot6ix MVP team was only able to get 13-16 positions, the Phoenix MVP team was able to make it to the top 8 positions.

After The International 5 Hot6ix MVP team finally disbanded and made Lee ‘Forev’ Sang-don and Pyo ‘MP’ No-a join MVP Phoenix. With this squad, MVP Phoenix has become the most feared team in the SEA region. They were able to reach the top 4 at the Shanghai Major and the top 6 at the Manila Major, winning Dota Pit Season 4 by defeating the Evil Geniuses team 3-0 in the Grand Finals which made them the only SEA regional team that was able to get a direct invite to the event. The International 2016.

Even at The International 6 event, the Phoenix MVP team again shined by being able to reach the top 6 position, which is an improvement compared to last year. But the news of the split within this team started to blow and became a reality when MP moved to Team Secret and Forev moved to team B)ears. Then QO joined Peter ‘ppd’ Dager in the Wanted team, but after experiencing a failure QO moved to Malaysia and reunited with Febby who had been playing on the Fnatic team since January 2017. Meanwhile, DuBu tried his luck in the United States by joining Team Onyx and soon he was invited to join Digital Chaos.

Now the five of them will be reunited in the same team. Seeing their achievements together and also after the five of them have tasted various other teams and gained new experiences, it seems that this South Korean team will become a new force in the SEA region.

The following is the current South Korean team roster:

– Kim ‘QO’ Seon-Yeob
– Pyo ‘MP’ Noa
– Sang-Don ‘FoREv’ Lee
– Kim ‘Febby’ Yong-min
– Kim ‘DuBu’ Duyoung
