Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Will Bring Experimental Plane Collection in New DLC
Even though it has entered its third year since the game was released, Bandai Namco is still continuing to provide full support for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. In the near future they too planning to release DLC “Experimental Aircraft Series” which will bring three types of experimental aircraft (F-15 S/MTD, F-16XL, FB-22 Strike Raptor), which were built specifically to improve performance and combat power.
One of the highlights of this new DLC is that the three experimental planes are taken directly from real-world models. This is quite special because previously Ace Combat 7 only brought a collection of original aircraft from classic games. You can see the action of the three new experimental aircraft in the trailer below:
In addition to the addition of new aircraft, the DLC will also feature content in the form of skins and emblems from enemy pilots and rival units from the classic game Ace Combat. With this players get more cool customization options that also evoke nostalgic memories when playing the classic game. There is no specific schedule, but the “Experimental Aircraft Series” DLC has been confirmed to arrive in the spring of 2021.
For those of you who are still unfamiliar with Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, this is an exciting and adrenaline-filled aerial combat simulation game. The game still offers the typical arcade control scheme of the classic series to make it easier for new players to adapt to the gameplay. Using the base of Unreal Engine 4, this series manages to deliver the best quality graphics and animations in the franchise.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown itself is available and can be played on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
