Almost Console Game Equivalent! Here's the New Anime Game on Android You Must Look For
Adapting anime into games seems to have become an increasingly dominant trend among Japanese developers. This is especially evident on mobile platforms, which do get more anime adaptation games over time. Besides being able to save production costs, the high popularity of the anime can also encourage fans to look at the mobile game. But we sometimes also often see how anime games released on Android and iOS lose their player base quickly before finally closing.
Scenarios like this are very common in mobile games, so the developer must always prepare anticipatory steps to keep the game relevant in the market. One of these ways is by not compromising on quality, or more specifically, they deliberately put more production costs in order to make mobile games based on anime adaptations with a more prominent quality. Games like this usually offer quality 3D graphics that look charming and gameplay that is formulated with solid mechanics.
Incidentally, there are already several new anime mobile games that have caught our attention the most for Android, so we decided to summarize them in this special article. Curious what the game is? just take a look at the list below!
My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero
Following its official release in several Asian countries, Funimation and Sony Pictures Entertainment Games have finally prepared a global release for My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero. This game is a mobile RPG that offers action gameplay, where you can form a dream Hero party to fight a gang of criminals led by Shigaraki and Nomu. In addition to offering its own story content with various exciting missions, this game also offers PVP mode to Allied Assault co-op to further add to the excitement. There’s also an exploratory gameplay aspect that makes it feel like an open-world game.
For those of you who can’t wait for the game, My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero has now officially opened the pre-registration stage at Google Play Store. This indicates that the release of the game is not far away and maybe only a few months from now.
One Punch Man World
A few weeks ago Perfect World Entertainment brought a big surprise with the announcement of a new One Punch Man adaptation game entitled One Punch Man World. At least from the first trailer shown, this game takes a lot of inspiration from scenes from the first season of the anime which are presented with stunning 3D graphics. Starting from character expressions, animated movements, to attack effects, they were successfully delivered with action gameplay that looks exciting and pumps up adrenaline.
Details about the game are still very minimal, including when this game will enter the Beta period until the certainty of its release. But since we’ve been given gameplay footage from the first trailer, it’s conceivable that the development of this game has entered a fairly distant phase and might arrive sooner than expected.
One Piece Fighting Path
Publisher Nuverse and developer CMGE happened to have just released a new action RPG game called One Piece Fighting Path in China. This is an officially licensed game that also has the support of Bytendance which is the company that owns TikTok, where players will be taken on Luffy’s adventure from being a pirate to meeting his crew. The exploration side of the game is quite well-designed, where players can sail in search of treasure, face sea monsters, and unlock access to new areas after completing special conditions.
Please note that the release of the game this time is only for the Chinese region, so there may be some players who have difficulty when they want to go through the login process. Due to the very high popularity of the series, there is a high possibility that One Piece Fighting Path will get a global release later.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Saga of How the Demon Lord and Dragon Founded a Nation
Several months ago Bandai Namco announced a partnership with developer Wright Flyer Studios for the anime adaptation of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (you can see the rest of the titles above). One attraction that is immediately emitted by this game lies in the 3D graphics that look charming, especially when in combat, especially when each character’s skill is displayed with cool animations. In addition to the combat system that looks very attractive, there is also a “Nation Building” mode that allows players to build their own empire. This is a mode that fits perfectly with the theme of the story which focuses on Rimuru’s efforts to build the Jura Tempest Federation empire.
Currently the game is still in the development stage for mobile (Android and iOS). There’s no confirmed release schedule yet, but the game will open a Closed Beta stage in the near future, so curious players can at least take this opportunity to play it first.
D_CIDE TRAUMEREI
Especially for this one is a big collaborative project between Bushiroad with companies Sumzap and Drecom. D_CIDE TRAUMEREI is a new media franchise divided between anime and mobile games. Especially for the mobile game itself, it carries the RPG genre with a turn-based battle system that looks quite charming. This is thanks to the presentation of the game that looks stunning, including the character designs handled by renowned illustrator Kukka.
The game is divided into several sections, which include a portion to continue the story, a portion to improve relationships with closest friends, as well as a challenging gameplay portion that requires players to face monsters from nightmares. In addition, the pre-registration stage has been opened and you can directly access it HERE.
Well, that’s the list of new anime games on Android that you must look forward to. Of the five games we mentioned above, which one do you think attracts the most attention? If there are other game recommendations that are not in this article, don’t hesitate to fill in the comments column below!
