Approaching Release, Anime DOTA: Dragon's Blood Releases Epic New Trailer!

It’s no longer a secret that Netflix is now putting more and more focus on producing quality original anime series. Not long after announcing the Tomb Raider anime adaptation project, they again surprised gamers with another new anime, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood. Interestingly, this anime production has entered a distant phase and is ready to be aired this March.

To increase fans’ enthusiasm, Netflix has just released new trailer which shows a lot of interesting details. This new original story that focuses on Davion looks very well formulated, where fans will be taken in an epic adventure story that further strengthens the lore of the Dota 2 universe. Instead of being curious, you can watch the trailer below.

Netflix also happened to release four posters as promotional material for the anime. Each poster shows a hero who is the central character in the anime story, some of these characters starting from Davion the Dragon Knight, Princess Mirana, Luna and Invoker. If these four posters are put together, then you can access a QR Code that leads to the poster for the fifth secret character.

Dota 2 is not the only MOBA game that has received an anime adaptation, because League of Legends has also prepared a similar project. Titled Arcane, this animated series is still in the development stage which has been going on for quite a while since its announcement in 2019. Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Arcane’s broadcast has been postponed until 2021 but without a definite broadcast schedule.

When will the anime air?

So like the information above, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is scheduled to be aired on March 25th. Maybe Netflix will release a new poster or trailer again approaching the anime’s release in the next few weeks.
