A new esports body was founded by professional CSGO team players and coaches. Named The World Esports Association (WESA), this organization was formed as a forum for professional players and set the match regulations under the WESA organization.

WESA was officially formed on May 13th by ESL and partners Fnatic, Ninjas in Pajamas, Team EnVyUs, Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports and mousesports. Sitting as members are several players whose names are familiar to us, including Adam “friberg” Friberg (NiP), Sergey “starix” Ishchuk, Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas (Natus Vincere).

Each selected professional team will be represented by a member, this time Viktor “vuggo” Jendeby who is a former Fnatic coach was elected as the technical head of the organization. In his statement it was said that the selection of players from each team was in order to maintain transparency of all activities carried out by WESA.
