Darth Vader and Yoda?
Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) is arguably the most successful mobile game since its release in 2016. Moonton’s foresight as a developer and publisher has made a breakthrough to present a battle arena (MOBA) game as if it paid off with the right momentum along with the rapid development of smartphones, gamers and esports. And, as currently reflected, Mobile Legends continues to dominate the mobile MOBA game market, from Southeast Asia to Asia.
After being popular and being played by millions of players, Moonton started collaborating for Mobile Legends, for the hero skins they play. The results of the first collaboration manifested in the hero Paquito, whose character creation was in direct collaboration with Manny Pacquiao, a famous Filipino boxer and world boxing champion belt holder. In order to further present the figure of the boxer, this month MLBB also released an official skin that is really close to the figure of Pacquiao.

Recently, there have been many collaborations between the game/esports industry and franchises, popular icons and public figures. Call it a battle royal shooter game like PUBG which has collaborated with many musicians until the last one collaborated with the film KingKong vs Godzilla. Meanwhile, Free Fire collaborates with footballer CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo) and several popular Japanese anime series, One-Punch Man and Attack On Titan.
It seems that Moonton doesn’t want to be left behind in exploring collaborations with well-known franchises. Indeed, apart from Paquito’s skin, all hero characters and skins are the result of Moonton’s designs. Well, recently a dataminer account named Dafrixkun gave a leak about the skins that will be present in Mobile Legends in May. Interestingly, the post shows two character skins Star Wars that is Darth Vader and Yoda.
The two iconic characters are believed to be new skins in MLBB. Then who is the hero who gets the exclusive skin? From the post, Darth Vader will fall to Argus, while Yoda becomes part of the Cyclops. Darth Vader can be very fitting with Argus because they both rely on the sword. While Cyclops is a ranged mage hero, it is the same as Yoda who utilizes the ability of internal energy.
This seems to refresh our memories because previously Moonton was rumored to be exploring cooperation with a famous film title. There are indications they have reached a cooperation agreement with Star Wars, one of the world’s biggest film franchises.
Apart from these leaks, Moonton has not issued an official announcement. Well, if the Darth Vader and Yoda skins were actually released, it would certainly attract the attention of millions of Star Wars fans in the world who are famous for being fanatical.
