DJ, 343, and MidOne Officially Leave Fnatic
The DOTA 2 Fnatic team on Wednesday (25/8) officially announced their separation from their 3rd roster, namely Djardel Jicko B. “DJ” Ablesti, Adam Erwann Shah “343” bin Akhtar Hussein and Zheng “MidOne” Yeik Nai. Currently only team captain Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung remains…
And offlaner Chong Xin “Ohaiyo” Khoo. On the official website, Fnatic’s team manager, Eric ‘reinn’ Khor Wei Soon, stated that he was very sorry to have to part with his three roster and was determined to rebuild the team to face the Major tournament next fall.
The split roster also revealed the reason they parted with Fnatic, as Zheng “MidOne” Yeik Nai said that he needed a new challenge after 9 months of strengthening Fnatic. Djardel Jicko B. “DJ” Ablesti from the Philippines expressed his desire to strengthen the local team in his country.
Meanwhile, Adam Erwann Shah “343” bin Akhtar Hussein wants to take a break from the world of DOTA 2 competition for a while. As we all know, the journey of the Fnatic team throughout 2016 was quite impressive, they were in 6th place in the Shanghai and Manila Major while at The International 2016 they were in 4th place after losing to the finalist team Digital Chaos.
It’s a shame that the strongest DOTA 2 team in Southeast Asia is scattered, hopefully they can get a commensurate replacement to make another achievement in international matches.
