Gamescom Confirms That There Are 2 Other Pro Teams Participating In The PUBG Tournament

After confirming that there are 4 pro teams participating in the first E-Sports tournament for the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds game, now Gamescom has stated that there will be 2 other pro teams that will participate.

As we know, there are already 4 pro teams that have confirmed to participate in the first PUBG tournament organized by Gamescom and Bluehole. They are TSM, Cloud9, Team Liquid, and Luminosity Gaming. Now 2 other pro teams will participate in this Battle Royale event, they are Noble Esports and Mythic Reborn.

Mythic Reborn is a team that takes part in the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Their team for the PUBG game consists of active and retired pro players, namely Erik “Fl0m” Flom, Eric “Adren” Hoag, Todd “Anger” Williams, and Alex “LeX” Deily. Meanwhile, the Noble Esports team will be strengthened by Darren “DazFPS” Rourke, Kade “Edakulous” Borel, Nick “Interrogate” Raposo, and Mario “DNBoom” Tancon.

This tournament format will run for 4 days with various game modes such as Solo Mode, Duo Mode, Duo FPP (First Person Perspective), and Squad Mode. The player with the highest score during this event will be the winner of this tournament.

Now players from the PUBG game are said to have passed 600 thousand active players on Steam and reached 60 million hours watched by gamers via Twitch in July. Seeing the number of players who have reached a very large number in a short time and also the entry of PUBG into the E-Sports event, it seems that this game can develop even further.

The PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Tournament which will take place on 23-26 August 2017 in Cologne, Germany. The total prize that will be up for grabs in this event is not kidding, which is $350,000.
