Genshin Impact Gets Special Trading Card Merchandise from Carddass

The increasingly dominant popularity of Genshin Impact has now made it solid as one of the most successful free-to-play games on the market. Mihoyo certainly took advantage of this momentum by preparing various marketing strategies, one of which was by preparing a variety of special merchandise. In addition to what they prepare directly, there are also merchandise that comes from third party companies, for example, such as Carddass which has just announced trading card merchandise with the theme of Genshin Impact.

The complete set features 32 cards that already include almost all the playable characters in the game. It’s not complete, but we’re pretty sure that Carddass will prepare a new edition in the future. It should be noted that even though the merchandise is labeled “Metal Card”, the material used is not metal, but only refers to the metallic reflection effect that makes each card shine. Each set of cards will be sold at 220 yen or around IDR 20 thousand. Cheap indeed, so most fans will probably end up buying a box set to get all the cards. One thing we regret is how all of these cards only use character artwork from the game’s promotional materials. It would be much better if Carddass prepared an exclusive never-before-seen artwork, as this could really boost its sales.
