Jean Gets a New Skin for 200 Thousands, Here's the Summary of Update 1.6 Genshin Impact!

Entering the beginning of the new month, it doesn’t feel like Update 1.5 Genshin Impact has entered its final weeks before miHoYo is ready to bring a big surprise in the next update. After a predetermined schedule, today they have held a presentation session that provides complete details about the content that will be present in Update 1.6 – Midsummer Island Adventure which will be coming soon.

In Update 1.6, players will help Klee when he receives a letter from “Dodo-King”, threatening to kidnap Klee’s best friend, Dodoco. Players will sail the open seas by riding a Waverider boat in search of the mysterious “Dodoland” in an archipelago. During the quest, players will be tested with various types of challenges, including fierce battles with Maguu Kenki. This new enemy can summon a shadow that grants Anemo and Cryo DMG, and can only be defeated in close combat. By taking on these challenges, players can earn event currency and exchange them for valuable items, as well as level up the new Refinement Catalyst 4-Star “Dodoco Tales” to the highest level via the Event Shop.

Two summer themed costumes will also be added to the game, and players can wear these costumes for Jean or Barbara. Jean’s “Sea Breeze Dandelion” costume, can be purchased from the in-game Shop at a discount for a limited time, while Barbara’s “Summertime Sparkle” costume, can be obtained for free when completing certain requirements in the “Echo of a Story” event. For price details, Jean’s costume can be purchased at a discounted price at 1350 Genesis Crystal or around 200 thousand more. While the skin for Barbara will be available for free as a gift from the latest event later. These two skins will be permanently available in the in-game shop with the normal price of 1680 Genesis Crystal after the Update 1.6 event ends.

Kaedehara Kazuha, the first character from Inazuma will also be present in Update 1.6. Mastering the power of Anemo and swordsmanship, Kazuha is a strong 5-Star Character and can provide support and the ability to control the fight for the party. Kazuha’s Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst not only deal Anemo DMG and control the enemy, but also deal additional Elemental DMG when in contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro. At the same time, Kazuha can also give his party members an Elemental DMG Bonus buff when Kazuha triggers a Swirl reaction.

Kazuha also has an important role in the latest Archon Quest. Joined by Beidou and the crew of the Crux Fleet, this wandering samurai will give you clues to get into the reclusive Inazuma. In addition, some concept art about Inazuma, the third great nation, and the surrounding area were shown to fans in the latest live broadcast.

To improve the existing gameplay, a new optimization for the Serenitea Pot feature will also be added in Genshin Impact through this 1.6 Update, where players can invite existing Characters to settle in the player’s Pot Realm. Companionship EXP Characters residing in the Teapot Realm will continue to increase over time, according to the Adeptal Energy Rank in the player’s Realm.
