Ghost of Tsushima Rumors of a Standalone Sequel to Ghost of Ikishima
Present as one of the last exclusive titles still being developed for the PlayStation 4, Ghost of Tsushima is a game that manages to answer expectations with sweet execution. The main strength of the game itself lies in the immersive and beautiful experience of playing open-world samurai games, where you are also presented with an emotional storyline from a samurai who tries to take a thorny path to protect his hometown. In addition to getting an official film adaptation directed by John Wick, it looks like Sucker Punch is also preparing a mini-sequel for it, entitled Ghost of Ikishima.
This information spread widely from a Twitter user named Shpeshal_Nick (Xboxera co-founder). He said that Ghost of Ikishima is an “expandalone” game or you could say standalone. This is similar to Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales, Uncharted Lost Legacy, and so on which were released separately with a smaller portion of content than the main game. Nick happened to have accurately leaked information from various projects, so the truth of the information he was spreading could be right on target.
Ghosts of Ikishima. An Expandalone type game. Aiming for 2021. Not sure how so many seemed to find out so quick.

Seeing the great success achieved by Ghost of Tsushima, it’s no wonder that Sony and Sucker Punch want to take advantage of this moment to strengthen the PlayStation 5 library in its first year with exclusive standalone games. It should be noted that they previously released standalone games for exclusive titles such as Infamous 2 through Infamous: Festival of Blood and Infamous: Second Son through Infamous First Light.
Of course all this is still just a rumor, so we can only wait for official confirmation in the future. Most likely this game announcement was deliberately saved for State of Play or a special presentation event that Sony prepared in the near future.
For those of you who are interested in the game, Ghost of Tsushima is now available on PlayStation 4 and can also be played on PlayStation 5. In addition to the single player content portion, they also offer a separate multiplayer mode which has been released since late last year with the title Ghost of Tsushima Legends. .
