Team Liquid Expands to Open Online Store in Europe
Multinational esports organization Team Liquid announced the opening of its first e-commerce store in the European region. As is known, Liquid has indeed entered into a multi-year partnership with Verizon, the wireless network operator as the organization’s official 5G partner.
The Team Liquid online store will launch on July 23, 2021 will offer most of the items available in the Team Liquid catalog. This includes the latest Apparel collection and the Naruto Shippuden Collaborative Collection and others.
In a release to the media, the European store seeks to ‘provide more efficient local options to home fans to support their favorite team’.
The store replenishment process is supposed to be done entirely in the region, resulting in lower prices and faster delivery for Team Liquid fans in Europe, compared to ordering from its North American counterpart.
In the launch event, Team Liquid will re-release the Naruto Shippuden clothing collection for EU residents. The collection, featuring Team Liquid iconography alongside characters from the popular anime and manga series, was revealed for the first time in February and is exclusive to the United States.
In addition, the organization plans to reveal several multi-regional launches throughout the year, in all regional stores will launch products in the near future with each other.
In addition to merchandise, Team Liquid and studio 1UP Verizon will also produce content, live streaming (via Twitch). These ambassadors include Ariel Powers, Jo ‘CoreJJ’ Yong-in, Lucas ‘Mendo’ Håkansson, and Thomas ’72hrs’ Mulligan.
