The Division Gets New Game Special For Mobile!

Entered in the Tom Clancy’s franchise, so far Ubisoft has done a pretty good job for the The Division series. Although the two game series still have shortcomings that prevent them from being superior third-person coop games, at least the concept that this series is trying to offer is still interesting and has the potential to be explored more deeply. Not wanting to just give up on the series, Ubisoft recently officially announced two new game projects at once.

One of those projects is the new The Division game which is specifically for the mobile platform. The details shared are still very limited, for that fans are asked to wait a little longer for further announcements. If you have to predict, it’s possible that this game will carry the same third-person coop concept, where you can explore a wide open-world map and undergo various missions with the squad.

Do not miss there is also a new project entitled The Division: Heartland, which will reportedly be released as a free-to-play game, aka free, with a setting that is still focused on the universe of The Division. The game, which was developed with developer Red Storm Entertainment, is planned to be released on consoles and PC in an estimated 2021 to 2022.

If you are still not satisfied, Ubisoft has even collaborated with Netflix for the film adaptation of The Division. The film, directed by Marshall Thurber, will take the same concept and setting as the original game. To provide further depth to the story of the series universe, there is also a novel adaptation series from Aconyte which this time focuses on the story in the second game.

With the series of projects above, it can be seen that Ubisoft is fully focused on increasing the popularity of The Division. Depending on how successful the results they get from it, there is a possibility that fans will be presented with a new game that is seriously developed this time as a sequel to The Division 2.
