How Pro Gamers Sleep Well After Hours in Front of a Screen
Here are a few messages from Michael “Flamesword” Chaves sharing his tips for falling asleep after playing.
When i first started games, I difficulty to fall asleep. I have been given all kinds advice, one of the guys from Silicon Valley told me that he sleep six last night, then take nap for one hour at noon.
But nap makes me dizzy, So, I develop a ritual: I forced my body for one day, work in the morning and pushed myself to the point of exhaustion. Then I set time limit to fall asleep exactly two hours later. So if my team finished doing practice session us at 10:00 pm, I was in bed at 12.00 pm. Within two hours I tried to relax and slow down my mind. By the time I get to the end of the day, my body is tired and needs sleep.
Once in bed, I closed everything including the monitor screen. [Studi menunjukkan lampu LED biru layar ‘dapat mengganggu tidur.] I set my room temperature to 67-69°, which I’ve read is optimal for charging one’s brain. I’ve been doing this for a year now, and it works.
