Overwatch Pro Player from Russia Must Receive His Visa Denied by the United States

An Overwatch pro game player from Russia had to experience visa problems after he was refused by immigration authorities to compete in the United States in the Overwatch Contenders’ season one playoffs.

Denis “Tonic” Rulyov is a member of the Overwatch 123 team from Europe who had to experience problems at immigration after his visa was refused. The player who has a role as a tanker has been an Overwatch player since the game was released and has succeeded in helping team 123 to penetrate Overwatch Contenders by being in 3rd place.

Tonic went from Ukraine to apply for a visa in the United States, but unfortunately his visa was refused and he could not compete with his colleagues. The United States in August did carry out a policy to withhold visas from Russia.

Later, Team 123 is scheduled to compete against Team Gigantti on October 7, 2017 at the Blizzard Arena Los Angeles, located in California. I do not know whether Tonic will be able to attend the match with the visa problem that befell him at this time.

Visa problems sometimes make it difficult for E-Sports athletes to be able to compete in the international arena. Hopefully this problem can end soon and make every player have the same opportunity to compete.
