Jay 'Sinatraa' Wong, Valorant Pro Player Suffered Suspension Due To Sexual Harassment Scandal
Jay ‘Sinatraa’ Wong was sentenced to an indefinite suspension by Riot Games over a sexual harassment report. Sinatraa was barred from appearing on Valorant’s competitive scene as well as with his team the Sentinels while the harassment investigation was uncovered. Wong’s exclusion from the team came just before the Valorant Champions Tour Stage 1 Masters.
This case emerged following a tweet from Twitter account owner Cleo “Cle0h” Hernández who accused Sinatraa of sexual harassment right after Women’s International Day.
This comes after Cleo “cle0h” Hernandez posted a nine-page document, talking about her experiences with Won during their nine-month relationship. Won has yet to post a public statement about the situation.

Riot Games took a firm stance on severing all of Wong’s relationship with Valorant, including suspending the pro player’s chance to appear in the Valorant Stage 1 Masters. Meanwhile, the Sentinel team has also issued a statement confirming Wong’s suspension during the investigation.
We are aware of the current situation regarding Jay “Sinatraa” Won and have launched an investigation internally. While the investigation is pending, he is suspended from the team.
We will provide a further update once the investigation has concluded.

Hernández, as the whistleblower, shared evidence of the allegations via Google Docs which he linked in a Tweet. In the document, Hernández shares his story of the abuse he suffered during his 9-month relationship with Wong and describes in detail about the psychological and sexual abuse he claims to have experienced. Although the investigation is ongoing, the document includes a series of screenshots and footage confirming his experience. So far, Wong has not confirmed or denied the allegations.
Wong’s dismissal from the team came just before the Valorant Champions Tour Stage 1 Masters. The Sentinels are scheduled to take on Luminosity Gaming on Friday, March 12. Wong is one of the best Vaorant players in the North American region and is the focus of the Sentinel team.

After tweeting his accusations, Hernández stated that Wong’s current partner had contacted him but he was in no way involved with the events in Hernández’s story. Furthermore, Hernández also quoted a Valorant Champions Tour tweet saying he hoped to be contacted as part of the investigation launched against Wong. Unfortunately, Hernández had to limit responses so that users not mentioned in his Tweets were unable to reply as some interactions on the timeline started to go sour, some of which even saw this as an attempt to ruin Wong’s career.
This is not the first time the Valorant gaming community has addressed the issue of online harassment and sexist behavior towards women. Female players have reported being subjected to inappropriate behavior. Anna Donlon, the executive producer of Valorant, even admitted that he was “give up” to play solo because he had accepted the problematic behavior. In this case, the Sentinel team member is one of the best players in the game.
