How to Connect PC/Mobile Account to PlayStation Network

Ok for the first guide as well as what we have tried this morning is to move Mihoyo account data on PC to PlayStation Network. So what you need to do is very simple, namely by accessing the game on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 and then linking the Mihoyo account used on the PC to your console. The method is very simple, that is, you only need to access a pop-up message asking if you want to connect the account, before finally you have to fill in the email from the main Mihoyo account used to play and then fill in the verification code that has been sent to the email. When finished, then you can immediately play the game normally.

Even though it is simple, there are special conditions that you must fulfill, namely the Genshin Impact game that you are running has not yet been played. So, for example, if you have downloaded the game and happen to have played even if it was only for a short time, then the option to link the account will not be available because Mihoyo has saved your game progress. If it’s like this, the only option you can do is to create a new PSN account. But before that make sure you have to choose the region that matches the main Genshin account you want to connect. For example, if your account is Asian, then you should create a PSN account with the appropriate country in the Asian region as well. One thing is clear, if you have created an account, make sure to open the game and wait for a pop-up to link your account, so don’t skip playing first.

How to Connect PlayStation Account to PC/Mobile

Now if you are the owner of a Genshin account on PlayStation who wants to move progress to PC and mobile, then the method is relatively the same. The difference is that you have to create a new email that has not been registered for a Mihoyo account. You can then link the email to your Genshin account on PlayStation via the menu option Settings > Account > User Center > Account Link. After success, you can create a Mihoyo account normally with the email that has been linked. The method is also very easy, but make sure not to create a Mihoyo account before linking the account this way.

After the cross-save process above is successful, then you can play Genshin Impact freely on various platforms. The progress that has been passed will be saved even if you take turns playing the game on mobile, PC, to PlayStation. Fortunately, this feature is quite flexible, because even though you already have an account that can’t be linked, you only need to create an email and a new account, each of which has not yet recorded the progress of the game.
