Ilya 'Alohadance' Officially Joins Team Dota 2, Empire

Team Empire announced the team line-up, while announcing the arrival of two new players, namely Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin and Sergey “G” Bragin. The two will join the old roster of Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, Rinat “KingR” Abdullin, and Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk.

As we all know Team Empire previously fired their team captain Captain Roman ‘Scandal’ Sadotenkov for unknown reasons, it seems that failing to qualify for TI6 was the main reason. Scandal’s exit was followed by his partner Roman ‘RAMZES666’ Kushnarev and Vasily ‘AfterLife’ Shishkin.

ALOHADANCE previously played for Team Empire from December 2014 to March 2016, a dispute with the management led him to later join Virtus.pro. Failing to qualify for The International tournament, Virtus.pro finally decided to disband the entire roster.

While Sergey “G” Bragin (God) is known as a veteran DOTA player in the CIS region, he spent 3 years at Virtus.pro before finally moving to the ASUS.Polar team in April 2015.

Team Empire esports director Alexander “StrangeR” Solomonov said that the dispute between ALOHADANCE and the organization that occurred earlier had been forgotten. “We saw a positive change from ALOHADANCE, he is a good player and we gave him the opportunity to return as a carry player in Team Empire,” said Alexander Solomonov.
