To maintain its originality, the studio even managed to get voice actors from the original game to return to fill their roles. The World Ends with You: The Animation is scheduled to premiere on April 10, 2021.

DOTA: Dragon’s Blood

Not long after announcing the Tomb Raider anime adaptation project, Netflix has surprised gamers again with another game adaptation, namely DOTA: Dragon’s Blood. The new original story that focuses on Davion in this anime looks very well formulated, where fans will be taken in an epic adventure story that further strengthens the lore of the Dota 2 universe. on March 25, 2021.

Seven Knights Revolution: Successor of Heroes

Last February, Netmarble brought a big surprise through the announcement of an anime adapting their flagship RPG game, Seven Knights. Titled Seven Knights Revolution: Successor of Heroes, this anime was developed in collaboration between LIDENFILMS and domerica who also happened to be involved with the adaptation of The World Ends with You: The Animation.

For the storyline, Seven Knights Revolution: Successor of Heroes focuses on the adventures of Nemo and Faria in a world ruled by the god of destruction. One day Nemo managed to awaken his new strength on the battlefield, which was also witnessed by Faria, the leader of the Seven Knights group. Fortunately, fans don’t have to wait long, because the anime will soon air in April 2021.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Anime

Through a special livestream session that was broadcast last week, Falcom announced that they are preparing a Trails of Cold Steel anime adaptation project. This project was carried out by a collaboration of four companies namely UserJoy Technology, Funimation Global Group, SYOU, and NADA Holdings. Although no studio has been announced yet, Funimation’s involvement as a co-producer gives strong hope that the quality of the adaptation will meet fans’ expectations, especially considering their track record of being involved in many popular anime on the market.

As for the release schedule, the anime will begin airing in 2022 with new information that will be shared periodically.

Girls’ Frontline Anime

Developer Mica Team several months ago also announced their latest collaborative project with SUNBORN Network and Warner Bros Japan. This collaboration is aimed at the Girls’ Frontline anime adaptation project by studio Asahi Production. Although information about the anime is still very minimal apart from the opening of the official website and the appearance of character artwork, the studio is already planning to broadcast it in 2021. That way it is certain that they will share more new details in the near future.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Although many fans feel disappointed with the release of Cyberpunk 2077 which is filled with a myriad of technical problems, at least they will still be spoiled with one more latest Cyberpunk project which this time comes in anime format. Titled Cyberpunk Edgerunners, this adaptation will come with a story that focuses on the main character who plays Edgerunner, where he has to face various obstacles in an effort to survive.

Tomb Raider Anime

Based on the information shared, the anime series will follow the adventures of Lara Croft in the trilogy of rebooted games. This means that Lara Croft which will be present in the anime is the latest version in the Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider games. This project is also handled directly by Legendary who is the iconic studio behind many popular films.
