New TenShura Mobile Game from Bandai Namco Prepares Closed Beta Soon
If there is one isekai anime title that has received the most attention in recent years, the name That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (TenShura) is definitely worth mentioning. Taking advantage of the still very strong popularity of the series, Bandai Namco has partnered with developer Wright Flyer Studios to develop a new game adaptation entitled That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Saga of How the Demon Lord and Dragon Founded a Nation (yes, the title is indeed all this time wkwkwk).
Following the opening of the pre-registration stage, the developer has now prepared the Closed Beta stage which is planned to be held from 27 to 31 May. The official registration is open from today until May 20, where access will only be limited to the first 3,000 registered players on Android and iOS. If you are interested, just register on the official website HERE.
The content offered through its CBT access includes the main story that focuses on the story of Rimuru’s adventures in building the Jura Tempest Federation empire. The concept was eventually carried over to the “Nation Building” mode which gives players the option to build their own empire as well. The focus of the gameplay offered can also be seen from the battle system which is presented with charming 3D graphics and animations.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the series, TenShura is a light novel series by Fuse with illustrations by Mitz Vah. The series, which debuted in 2013, tells the story of an ordinary employee named Satoru Mikami who is reborn in a fantasy world after he dies in an accident. Instead of being reborn as a superhero, he transformed into a Slime. This is where his new adventure in a fantasy world full of surprises begins. The series continued to grow in popularity until it received an anime adaptation by studio Eight Bit.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Saga of How the Demon Lord and Dragon Founded a Nation is currently in development for mobile (Android and iOS). There’s no confirmed release date yet, but the unveiling of the CBT later is a big step in preparation for its release.
