NieR Replicant ver.1.22 Will Present Papa Nier Until New Story Episodes!

Ahead of the release of the game, which is only days away, the enthusiasm of fans in welcoming NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is getting more and more unstoppable. It just so happens that Square Enix held its final presentation session last night to share the latest details of the game, including the extra content that’s been rumored for the past few weeks.

Through the new trailer released, the extra content that will be present in the game is the 15 Dungeons challenge which gives the option to play Father Nier as a playable character. For those of you who are not familiar with the character, Father Nier is the protagonist of NieR Gestalt, which is the western version of the original Nier game. While NieR Replicant itself is the original version that is devoted to the Japanese region and presents Brother Nier as the protagonist.

Other content offered also includes the original Kabuki & Samurai costume DLC set, YoRHa 4 DLC featuring a collection of costumes and weapons from NieR: Automata, and last but not least the biggest content is an extra story episode called “Mermaid”. This episode focuses on the story of a mysterious girl who lives on a shipwreck and the threat from the Shade monster that cannot die.

Yesterday’s presentation session also shared details of various exclusive Nier merchandise that will be marketed, for example such as Soundtrack CDs, new Nendoroids for characters Kaine, Emil and A2, and many more.

When is the Game Released?
