Square Enix is sure to be present at E3 2021, what surprises are they preparing for?
Following the confirmation of the return of the prestigious annual event E3 which this time will be held online, the enthusiasm of gamers around the world in welcoming the event has become even stronger. Square Enix as one of the biggest game companies who usually hold their own presentation sessions finally brought official confirmation that they will also participate at E3 2021.
This announcement came directly from Yosuke Matsuda as president and CEO of Square Enix through an interview with Nikkei. In addition to highlighting several new games that will be released in the near future, from Outriders to Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Matsuda also said that Square Enix will announce more surprises in the future including the E3 event which will be held in June.
Our prediction is that Square Enix will share more details about their biggest AAA game project, Final Fantasy XVI, Forspoken, and some of the ones they publish like Life is Strange: True Colors. Although small, it is also possible that they will announce Final Fantasy VII Remake Part II which has gone through a more fluid and structured development period.
With this confirmation, EA is included in the list of other large companies that have not spoken about their presence at E3, this year, which is likely to be focusing on preparing its own special event through EA Play. Another major company absent from this event is Sony, which we already know is still separating their marketing strategy from E3 and choosing to hold their own presentation events from time to time.
3 2021 will be held from 12 to 15 June. You can monitor the development of updated information about the event from the official website HERE.
