Razer Ready to Market Cool Merchandise Themed Ocean Plastic Recycled

Razer as one of the biggest gaming brands in the world today announced the merchandise collection Kanagawa Wave Collection, a limited edition garment made from recycled marine plastic. The outfit is decorated in the style of the famous Great Wave off Kanagawa woodcarving, designed to highlight the problem of plastic pollution in the ocean, the proceeds of which will be used to fund ocean plastic reduction efforts to protect the ocean and its sustainability.

This merchandise collection will be released on April 8, 2021 at 09:00 WIB. Since it’s only available in limited quantities (1337 units), fans who want to get their hands on this exclusive Kanagawa Wave Collection line should act quickly and head over to Razer’s official website. HERE to get notified when this collection will be released. Based on the release of the latest Razer outfit ‘A GAMING APE’ which sold out in minutes, fans are advised to register early so as not to run out of stock.

The following are the price details of each clothing merchandise:

  • Razer Kanagawa Wave Zip Hoodie: $149.99 USD / €159.99
  • Razer Kanagawa Wave Tee: $89.99 USD / €99.99
  • Razer Kanagawa Wave Tank Top: $69.99 USD / €79.99
  • Razer Kanagawa Wave Shorts: $79.99 USD / €89.99
  • Razer Kanagawa Wave Cap: $49.99 USD / €59.99

Every item in this line, including jackets, t-shirts, tank tops, shorts and hats, is made of high quality fabric made from 100% recycled marine plastic. These fabrics are produced under a program that aims to remove marine plastic debris from the ocean and recycle it into useful products including Razer’s fashionable clothing line, Kanagawa Wave.

Around 11 million tonnes of plastic enter the oceans each year endangering marine life and entering the food chain. To help mitigate this problem, proceeds from the sale of the Kangawa Wave collection will be used for the recovery of marine plastic in some of the world’s most affected coastlines and marine life areas. For every piece of clothing sold in this collection, Razer will fund the recovery of 1 kg of marine plastic.

This release of the Kanagawa Wave merchandise line is Razer’s second eco-focused initiative under the hashtag #GoGreenWithRazer which continues the successful and ongoing conservation program led by Razer’s mascot, Sneki Snek which has already surpassed its original target of saving 100,000 trees and will further save 1,000,000 trees. .

Through these and other future initiatives and actions, Razer wants to engage and mobilize communities to help conserve nature and ensure the world remains an arena in which we can play.
